Job Summary:
Based upon your experience, your interest, your education, and your unique ability you will be responsible for some combination of auditing, design or development, software engineering and research into energy savings opportunities for our clients.. This is for construction and engineering for a portfolio of projects in the energy and construction industries.
The concentration niches include solar, renewable, lighting, HVAC, drives, cogeneration, and other forms of energy conservation and construction.

Any educational or experience or background within the construction trades, engineering, utilities, ESCO’s, conservation, renewable, or state agencies with construction, energy, rebates or performing energy calculations (such as NYSERDA or DOE) should be highlighted in your response.
If submitting for sales please highlight such experiences as well. If limited experience inside this industry, please relate why this is the position for you.

Please explain what interest, and experience you have in the following areas;
- Create benefit/cost analysis based on engineering fundamentals
- Be able to draft client proposal as byproduct of benefit/cost analysis
- Be able to draft technical review and analysis as it relates to benefit and cost analysis
- Taking initiative to understand and learn about existing and new energy saving technologies, and can calculate and learn about the energy savings they create
- Understanding of utility rates and programs, and able to calculate energy usage
- Knowledge of HVAC and lighting technologies
- Knowledge, understanding of other energy use or energy production technologies
- Work within NYSERDA incentive programs
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies
- Oversee project and material pricing/ordering
- Manage all aspects of an energy efficiency project
- Oversee and coordinate installation sub-contractors or vendors
